This is a photo I took of a young girl participating in an astronomy event I did at a local school. The kids were able to trace the sun and sunspots as they were projected on a piece of paper.  To see the SunSpotter scope, go here

At the same school, I was a coach for a team of kids that competed in the Lego/Robotic competition (in which some 40,000 kids nation-wide compete.) The kids designed, built, and programmed a robot to move and accomplish tasks on a ping-pong table-sized course.  The programming software was the same software that was used on the Mars Rover! Both this and the above astronomy event were a wonderful experience for me: witnessing kids learn.  Look at the smile on that face above!
