The Invitation - Someone sent this to me a few years ago. I can't remember who. (So what else is new?!)
Going for the Dog - This I originally heard a few years ago on NPR.
R. Crumb cartoon - Yeh, it's not a quote, but it's art.
T.S. Elliot - Three items that come to mind frequently.
Is the Body Obsolete? -by Bruce Sterling.
Tag Team Writing - This purportedly true tale is from the net and is of a high school writing assignment.
Warranty Info - This is a tongue-in-cheek warranty notice.
Einstein et al - Some items from accumulated scraps of paper, etc. Not that I subscribe to every word...
Orangutan - This is to me a very moving one-page tale.
I'll be adding more to this list in the future...
