The 70's were when underground comics came into their own.   My favorite was Zap Comix. There was one particular image I saw back then that stuck with me all these years. A few years back, I started searching for the cartoon I remembered.  Why?  'Cause R. Crumb caught the mood: there's a vision: whenever I'm seeing things the way I'd like to ... I'm seeing them as wonderous, stunning. I want to grab you by the shirt collar and ask emphatically,

"Do you see?  Isn't it  unspeakably amazing?"

(And besides, even if he's having a bad hair day, at least he's got hair...)
