During the last part of the previous century,  I spent 4 months in India. I rented a house and lived alone.  I was getting traditional India medical treatment, which is wholistic.  The Indian vision of wholeness is a beautiful one.  Treatment involves not only herbs and decoctions, but also lifestyle.  I met wonderful, open, smiling people.  And I was seduced by India into slowing down. Here're some photos of some of the people who helped.

These girls were my neighbors. Said Mom in a letter, "Our faces get brighter as we see you. And our mind gets to the sky when you call us by name."
